1. Agreement to Terms
By accessing or using pathtopr.ca (the “Site”), operated by Path To PR (“we,” “us,” “our”), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service (“Terms”) in their entirety. If you do not agree to every provision of these Terms, you must immediately stop using the Site. Your continued access to or use of the Site after any modification to these Terms constitutes your binding acceptance of such modifications.
2. Nature of the Platform
Path To PR is an immigration data analytics platform. We aggregate, process, and present data from publicly available sources — including but not limited to Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC) websites, the Canada Gazette, provincial and territorial government publications, judicial decisions, and other public records — using automated tools, web scrapers, and artificial intelligence.
We are not a law firm. We are not an immigration consultancy. We are not financial advisors. We are a team of data scientists and engineers who built a tool to make publicly available information more accessible. Nothing more, nothing less.
3. No Professional Advice
Nothing on this website — including but not limited to scores, calculations, rankings, projections, draw histories, articles, commentary, suggestions, and any output of any tool or calculator — constitutes legal, immigration, financial, tax, or any other form of professional advice.
No solicitor-client, attorney-client, fiduciary, advisory, or agency relationship of any kind is created by your access to, use of, or reliance on this website or any content herein. You must independently consult a licensed immigration lawyer or a Regulated Canadian Immigration Consultant (RCIC) authorized by the College of Immigration and Citizenship Consultants before making any immigration-related decision. We say this not as a formality but as genuine advice: your immigration case is too important to rely on any single source, including us.
4. AI-Generated Content; Acknowledged Inaccuracy
This platform uses artificial intelligence to aggregate, process, summarize, and present data. We try to cross-check to the fullest extent possible, but AI-generated content may contain errors, hallucinations, omissions, inaccuracies, or outdated information. We expressly acknowledge this. We are telling you, plainly, that our content may be wrong.
All content is provided on a strict “as is” and “as available” basis. Path To PR disclaims all warranties, express or implied, including but not limited to the implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, completeness, reliability, timeliness, and non-infringement. No representation is made that the content is error-free or that results obtained from this site will be accurate, current, or reliable.
It is solely your responsibility to independently verify all information against official government sources before making any decisions. Path To PR expressly, deliberately, and intentionally rejects any and all responsibility for the accuracy of its content, and you accept full liability for any actions taken based on information obtained from this site.
5. Calculators and Tools
The CRS Calculator, PNP Calculator, and any other tools provided on this Site are intended solely for general guidance and reference purposes. They are estimates. They are approximations. They are not, and should not be treated as, official assessments of your eligibility or score.
In the event of any discrepancy between the results of any tool on this website and those provided by the official Express Entry electronic system or any provincial nominee program portal, the official results shall govern in all respects, in accordance with provisions of the Immigration and Refugee Protection Act, the Immigration and Refugee Protection Regulations, and Ministerial Instructions issued under IRPA s.10.3.
Calculator logic is updated from time to time in accordance with changes to Ministerial Instructions and provincial program criteria. There may be delays between when a change is published and when our tools reflect it.
6. No Government Affiliation
Path To PR is not affiliated with, endorsed by, sponsored by, or in any way officially connected to Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC), the Government of Canada, any provincial or territorial government, the College of Immigration and Citizenship Consultants, or any other governmental or regulatory body. In the event of any discrepancy between content on this website and official government sources, the official sources shall govern in all respects.
7. Limitation of Liability; Assumption of Risk
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, including the laws of Canada and all provincial and territorial jurisdictions, Path To PR, its owners, operators, directors, officers, employees, agents, contributors, licensors, and affiliates (collectively, the “Released Parties”) shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, special, consequential, punitive, or exemplary damages — including but not limited to damages for loss of profits, goodwill, data, missed immigration deadlines, rejected applications, visa refusals, removal orders, inadmissibility findings, expired work permits, loss of status, detention, or any other tangible or intangible losses — arising out of or in connection with your access to, use of, inability to use, or reliance on this website or any content, tools, calculations, or services provided herein, regardless of the theory of liability (contract, tort, negligence, strict liability, or otherwise) and even if the Released Parties have been advised of the possibility of such damages.
By accessing or using this website, you expressly acknowledge and assume all risk associated with the use of content that may be inaccurate, incomplete, or outdated, and you agree that the Released Parties shall bear no responsibility whatsoever for any decision made or action taken by you in reliance on any information obtained from this site.
In jurisdictions that do not allow the exclusion or limitation of certain damages, the liability of the Released Parties shall be limited to the fullest extent permitted by applicable law. In no event shall the aggregate liability of the Released Parties exceed the amount of ten Canadian dollars (CAD $10.00).
8. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless the Released Parties from and against any and all claims, liabilities, damages, losses, costs, expenses, and fees (including reasonable attorneys’ fees) arising out of or relating to: (a) your use of or reliance on the Site or any content therein; (b) your violation of these Terms; (c) your violation of any rights of any third party; or (d) any immigration application, decision, or proceeding in which you relied, in whole or in part, on information obtained from this Site.
9. Intellectual Property
The content on this Site — including but not limited to text, graphics, logos, images, software, calculator logic, algorithms, data compilations, and the selection and arrangement thereof — is the property of Path To PR or its licensors and is protected by Canadian and international copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.
You may access and use the Site for personal, non-commercial purposes only. You may not reproduce, distribute, modify, create derivative works of, scrape, mirror, republish, or commercially exploit any content without express written permission.
10. User Conduct
You agree not to:
- Use the Site for any unlawful purpose or in violation of any applicable law or regulation
- Attempt to interfere with, compromise, or disrupt the Site or its servers
- Use automated systems (bots, scrapers, crawlers) to access the Site without written permission
- Impersonate any person or entity or misrepresent your affiliation with any person or entity
- Attempt to reverse-engineer, decompile, or extract source code from the Site
We reserve the right to restrict or terminate access to the Site for any user, for any reason, at any time, without notice.
11. Privacy and Data
Your use of the Site is also governed by our Privacy Policy. By using the Site, you consent to the data practices described therein. We use analytics services (including Google Analytics and Microsoft Clarity) to understand how the Site is used. We do not sell your personal information to third parties.
Calculator inputs are processed client-side and are not stored on our servers. We do not retain your CRS score, PNP responses, or any personal immigration data you enter into our tools.
12. Third-Party Links and Content
The Site may contain links to third-party websites, including government portals, news sources, and other resources. These links are provided for convenience only. Path To PR does not endorse, control, or assume any responsibility for the content, privacy policies, or practices of any third-party site. You access third-party sites entirely at your own risk.
13. Governing Law; Dispute Resolution
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Province of Ontario and the federal laws of Canada applicable therein, without regard to conflict of law principles.
Any dispute, controversy, or claim arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Site shall first be attempted to be resolved through good-faith negotiation. If the dispute cannot be resolved within thirty (30) days, it shall be submitted to binding arbitration in the City of Toronto, Ontario, administered in accordance with the Arbitration Act, 1991 (Ontario). The language of arbitration shall be English. The arbitrator’s decision shall be final and binding.
You agree that any dispute resolution proceedings will be conducted only on an individual basis and not in a class, consolidated, or representative action. You waive any right to participate in a class action lawsuit or class-wide arbitration against the Released Parties.
14. Severability
If any provision of these Terms is held to be invalid, illegal, or unenforceable by a court of competent jurisdiction, that provision shall be enforced to the maximum extent permissible, and the remaining provisions shall remain in full force and effect. The invalidity of any provision shall not affect the validity of any other provision.
15. Entire Agreement
These Terms, together with the Privacy Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and Path To PR with respect to your use of the Site and supersede all prior or contemporaneous communications and proposals, whether oral or written, between you and Path To PR. No waiver of any provision of these Terms shall be deemed a further or continuing waiver of such provision or any other provision.
16. Changes to Terms
We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time, for any reason, at our sole discretion. Changes will be effective immediately upon posting. Your continued use of the Site after any modification constitutes your acceptance of the updated Terms. It is your responsibility to review these Terms periodically.
