The Northwest Territories Nominee Program (NTNP) has announced important updates that affect applicants seeking territorial nomination for Canadian permanent residence.

Update Details:
Two online information sessions on the Northwest Territories Nominee Program will take place June 16 and June 18, 2026. Employers and foreign nationals are invited to attend either session to learn more about the program, get more information about application processes and ask Government of the Northwest Territories employees any questions. Date and time: Tuesday, June 16, 2026, 10:00 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. Thursday, June 18 2026, 6:00 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. Location: Zoom. Email immigration@gov.nt.ca to receive the link that will allow you to access the presentation. Deadline to register: Monday, June 15 2026, 5:00 p.m. (for June 16 session) Thursday, June 18 2026, noon (for June 18 session) The presentations will provide attendees with information about the Northwest Territories Nominee Program and will be followed by a question period. The sessions are set to take place in preparation for the upcoming Expression of Interest draw for the Employer Driven Stream, scheduled for June 25, 2026. The deadline to submit an Expression of Interest that is considered in the draw is June 22, 2026. French interpretation will be available.
