🛑 We no longer give points for job offers
As of March 25 2025, we’ve removed job-offer points from the CRS for all current and future Express Entry candidates. This applies to:
- Major Group 00 (senior management): 200 points
- Any other skilled occupation: 50 points

If a valid job offer is part of your eligibility for:
- Federal Skilled Trades Program
- Federal Skilled Worker Program
- Certain Provincial Nominee streams
…you still must include it in your profile to remain eligible.
You earn points as if you don’t have a spouse or common-law partner if:
- they’re not coming with you, or
- they’re already a Canadian citizen or permanent resident.
